The Docket: A Year of Cases

Twelve months. Twelve cases. One envelope at a time.

Heads up: this lineup is tentative. The docket can change based on what members want to see next, and members vote on wildcards. What's inside each envelope stays sealed until it reaches your mailbox, and every archive is interactive: a coded Field Kit you crack by hand, and one fragment of the year-long Season Cipher hidden inside. Here's the plan for year one, as it stands today.

August · Open now · Closes July 31Archive 001: The MothmanPoint Pleasant, 1966. Red eyes, thirteen months of sightings, and a bridge that fell.
SeptemberArchive 002: The Bridgewater TriangleA Massachusetts swamp where everything happens at once.
OctoberArchive 003: The Zodiac KillerSan Francisco. Ciphers. A killer who signed his work.
NovemberArchive 004: D.B. CooperA man, a parachute, two hundred thousand dollars, and thin air. Fifty-five years this November.
DecemberArchive 005: KrampusThe old world's answer to the naughty list.

MarchArchive 008: Skinwalker RanchA Utah ranch where the sky misbehaves.

MayArchive 010: The Bell WitchThe Tennessee haunting that talked back.
JuneArchive 011: RoanokeOne hundred fifteen colonists and a single carved word: CROATOAN.
JulyArchive 012: RoswellNew Mexico, 1947. Whatever fell, fell here.

The docket can shift, and members vote on wildcards. Solve every file and the twelve cipher fragments spell your Keeper's Code, a members-only reward at renewal. Miss a month and the message stays broken. The sharpest member theories get credited in future files.

How it works: members receive each case the month it opens for $11, postage included in the US. Every file is fully interactive: crack the Field Kit by hand, decode the transmission, and collect your cipher fragment. When a case closes, it moves to the Past Archives at $13, printed to order. Join the Archive and be there when each file opens. Warm up for any case in the Case File Companions, where the episodes play right on the site.
